As a dealer, this year we attended the IDS exhibition in Cologne, the most important event in dentistry in Europe, for the fifth time. It was exciting for us to see the latest technological developments, innovative products and future trends in dentistry.
This year, we have once again focused on sustainability. We took the train instead of the plane, reducing the ecological footprint of our travel. The train journey gave us a comfortable working environment.
Due to the congestion and high accommodation prices in Cologne during IDS, it is worth looking for accommodation along the excellent rail connections of the Cologne Messe, where cheaper and better options are available. We did the same.
We came home full of exciting new things and successful negotiations. We can't give you any details about them yet, but we will report in more detail on our new products this year.
We took the strain out of the exhibition by taking a short tour of the city around Cologne Cathedral while waiting for the train. We didn't miss the opportunity to climb on foot to the 157 metre high bell tower, from where we had an unrivalled view of the city. The monumental architecture of the Duomo was an unforgettable experience and we even got to see the exhibition area. All in all, the IDS 2025 exhibition was an excellent opportunity for professional development, networking and insight into the future of dentistry.
