Diamond wedges

The product is a copy of Bioclear diamond.

This diamond wedge was developed to solve many of the difficulties of using conventional rigid wedges. The diamond wedge requires less force to insert than conventional wedges because the diamond-shaped recess at the tip contracts during insertion. The wedge then opens once through the recess, creating a tight seal (adaptation) and preventing the wedge from slipping out. The flexibility of the diamond wedge ensures excellent marginal adaptation, which prevents uncontrolled flow-out of excess composite and minimises postforming time after the composite has set, while maintaining the strong separating effect.
