Description
You can read a lot about LEDs in the helpful tips section of our website.
Here I will only describe the most important differences to halogen lamps:
10,000 hours lifetime, which means you may only need to replace them every 30 years!
Higher light intensity: you will see better!
Different light spectrum: it will take 1-2 weeks for your eyes to get used to the new colours, but it will be worth it!
Price: only about 2x more expensive, so you'll get a lot out of it over the years as you can burn up to 10x as long as halogens (I've never had a halogen bulb last 1000 hours, but I've only been using LEDs in my clutch and micromotor for 2 years) :-)
